Now in its fourth edition, Piano Soiree continues its legacy of blending artistry, collaboration, and shared passion. Born out of the Kenyan Conservatoire of Music in 2022, the concert brings together teachers, students, and friends in an evening of unity through music.

Unlike a traditional piano recital, this event is designed as a true soiree, interweaving ensemble performances with intimate moments of interaction between performers and the audience. The result is not just a concert, but an experience of connection and togetherness.

This year’s theme, Notes Without Borders: A Tapestry of Sounds Inspired by Nature and Cultures, honors global traditions by weaving diverse influences into one harmonious journey. The repertoire spans continents: the lively rhythms of Argentina and Brazil, the delicate tones of Japan and Korea, the soulful melodies of Nigeria, and much more.

Expect stunning multi-hand performances—with four, six, and even eight pianists sharing a single instrument—showcasing post-classical works and imaginative arrangements. It’s an evening where music transcends boundaries, celebrating culture, nature, and humanity in one unforgettable performance.
