A powerful celebration of heritage, sound, and storytelling is coming to Laikipia County as Chai wa 14 Music, Food & Cultural Festival 2026 takes over the new Wanjēri Music Bowl & Resort in Sipili. Hosted by Wanjēri Production, the three-day festival honours the legacy of legendary Kikuyu artist Musaimo Wa Njeri while introducing a new generation through performances by Mungai wa Njeri and a diverse line-up of artists.
Beyond the music, Chai wa 14 is designed as an immersive cultural journey. Expect traditional dances, storytelling circles, yoga sessions, authentic Kikuyu cuisine, workshops, and curated vendor experiences set against the scenic backdrop of Laikipia. With VIP lounges, camping options, and unique accommodation experiences — including Kikuyu-inspired huts — the festival blends culture, community, and modern entertainment into one unforgettable weekend.
